Programs and Events
From Vacation Bible School to Advent workshops, the calendar is full of special events for our congregation and for the community.
Vacation Bible School
Every year we have VBS in the first week of June - June 2 - 6 for 2008. The VBS program is for children age 4 through 5th grade, with older youth welcome as helpers. Parent volunteers are needed as always!
4th of July in Monument
Right on the parade route, MCPC opens its doors to the community every 4th of July to share the celebration and provide a place for the hot and tired to recover.
Church Picnic
The annual church picnic is held on a summer Sunday. We play games, have a barbeque, and enjoy talking to friends in a beautiful outdoor setting in the Tri-Lakes area. Contact the church office for further information.
Harvest Festival
The Halloween Harvest Festival is an annual fixture in downtown Monument. In cooperation with downtown merchants, we provide a fun, safe place for parents to bring their children. In addition to games and snacks, costumes for the young of all ages are encouraged.
Advent Festival
The Advent festival occurs in early December with a potluck dinner, crafts, and music to celebrate the coming of Christ.
