  Youth Missions

Image If we are the body of Christ, we are not only His heart we are His hands and feet.  At MCPC, we put those hands and feet to good work.  Servanthood is a huge part of our youth mission.

We have a number of opportunities for youth to develop and grow a "servant's heart" toward others. And, in the process, it's amazing how they learn to appreciate all the gifts that they have themselves! Do you have an idea for mission? Let us know…

We head to the Marion House Soup Kitchen on the 5th Sundays of the month and prepare and serve meals.  We take a great deal of pride in our participation in Operation Christmas Child, not only filling dozens of shoe boxes every year but also traveling to the distribution center in Denver and packing those boxes for delivery all over the world.

Our outreach does not stop there, we offer a Vacation Bible School open to the community every June and travel to La Puente in Alamosa to till fields and prepare for summer planting. The Dale House, a transitional living facility in Colorado Springs, looks forward to seeing us arrive with food and games for evenings of fun. At MCPC, we believe one of our most effective forms of witness is the way we live our lives in service to others.

Matthew 25:40 -
“And the king will answer them, Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.”
