 Worship at MCPC

Image Worship is the heart of the church. It has been called God's power plant. Worship is a celebration of God's family and embraces children, youth and adults. A congregation's life flows out of worship. In worship we honor God and give thanks for His salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. In worship we encounter the presence of God and allow God to speak to and change our lives. Worship challenges us as individuals and as a community to be loving, joyful, and faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.

MCPC offers two worship services each Sunday. A praise team — keyboard, guitars, drums, bass, and vocalists — accompanies the 8:30am service. The chancel choir — accompanied by organ, piano, and occasional instrumentalists — leads the 11:00am service in music. (Note: One worship service is held at 10:00am in the summer months - typically June through August) Image

A biblical, Christ-centered sermon is proclaimed at both services. Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month at both services. The congregation participates via song, prayer, and responses. Our goal is to worship God in a joyful and meaningful setting.

Children's messages are offered weekly. Children's worship for pre-K through 4th grade is also held during each service.
